Description

Enjoy a view of the ocean from your private balcony or walk a half block to lounge on the semi private beach. Read on the porch surrounded by a jungle of lush vines and trees and watch the little birds and squirrels play. Walk two blocks to hop on the bus, which is a 15 minute ride to red line T (Quincy Center, where there are also lots of neat ethnic restaurants and several pubs). Or enjoy the free on-street parking. Large shared kitchen, living room. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, wireless high speed internet, basic cable. Help yourself to the coffee and breakfast cereal/toast/fruit. Your host is an artist, designer, and pinko leftycrat.

Caveats: the exterior is vinyl siding, the yard really is a jungle, the balcony has odd shingles, and a general air of genteel summer camp-like disheveled-ness rules the air. The bathroom is shared and clean but very camp-like. Boxes of mysterious interior design ingredients regularly invade the dining room. You may occasionally see the resident teenager as he braves the wide world outside the confines of his room. Thrill to the excitement of semi-domesticated wildlife if you catch a glimpse of the neighborhood skunks.
