Perfect for family while visiting the area, a business stay or vacation rental. Think of this as a less expensive and larger alternative to staying at a hotel. With more perks, ie, free use of laundry facilities.

This is a detached, stand-alone cottage, so there are no common walls and no noisy neighbors to deal with. It is cozy and clean.

June Through August: Rent is $65 /night or $425/week; or $400/week for 2 or more weeks. Short term or long term available as of 08/22/09. Single occupancy rates. Add $5 per night for each extra person. No taxes are charged.

A short contract will need to be completed. Also, a security deposit (depending on length of stay) is required to secure the rental prior to move-in. This will secure the place for you and also allow us to turn away other interested parties.

As a disclaimer, there is a dog on the premises that is never off-leash, and always kept inside except for walks. Her owners take extra care with her.

When we found Tom's studio for rent on Craigslist it answered a need to find short term self-contained accommodation in Los Angeles . It turned out to be great, ideal for the three of us, it was so so much better than a hotel. With a kitchen area , TV, good bathroom and shower and an area available outside we felt immediately at home. Tom was really discreet, attentive and straightforward and set up the broadband connection straightaway... home from home. It made an ideal and relaxing base to explore LA as it is centrally located in a tranquil neighborhood with restaurants and shops nearby. You could probably find a comparably priced hotel, but this is so much better. It feels more like home, and I can do my laundry for free – plus it doesn’t have the unpleasant odor that one may find at hotels. I highly recommend staying here. Tom & Heidi were very pleasant and cordial. C. Andrews
