The Puerta del Sol is the perfect starting point to explore Madrid. This bustling, centrally located square is one of the city's most lively places. It is the place where young people meet; where people stop off to go to the Plaza Mayor and old Madrid; a place to shop in department and smaller stores and on 31st December, the New Year is brought in to the chimes of the Puerta del Sol clock.
From the Puerta del Sol you can easily walk to Plaza Mayor; walk up calle Arenal to Opera and the Royal Palace; walk up calle Alcalá to the Spanish Parliament or walk to Plaza Santa Ana.

The one street you shouldn't miss on your trip to Madrid is the Gran Via, a showcase of early 20th century architecture. The lively street is one of the city's most important shopping areas. It also contains a large number of hotels and large movie theaters. But what makes this street so special it the architectural design of many of the large buildings. While walking through this crowded street make sure you look up once in a while and admire the often lavishly decorated grand 'edificios'.

Cancellation policy and change

Rental amount - following rules apply:

Cancellation fees depend on notice given and are as follows:



- 30% of rental non-refundable, not even in the case of force majeure
- Notice given less than 14 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total balance;

- Notice given less than 24 hours or no prior notice: 100% of the total balance.

To modify the number of guests: with fewer guests, the remaining balance stays the same;
with more guests, you pay the required supplement on arrival.



To change the number of days: with fewer days, the remaining balance stays the same; with more days, you pay the required additional sum on arrival.



Requesting an apartment change from that of your confirmed booking is considered as a de facto cancellation. To change an apartment; you must make a new booking.



All cancellations or changes must be made via email or fax. Cancellations or changes by phone are not accepted.

 We recommend that the client purchase travel insurance with cancellation cover.
