Location New York, NY, 10036 Area: Midtown West
Good location in midtown, lots of restaurants and bars on 9th avenue, and a very luminous and spacious place. Everything goes perfect. Just one little thing : there were no drapes among the windows !
The location is good. A lot of bar and restaurants. The room is in a good condition,and it got everything you need such as WIFI, Cable TV, Flat screen, all the bathroom stuffs, and full kitchen. The host was also very helpful and very easy to talk to. Will use it again if i have to go back.
Very central and luminous place. The host was very kind and helpful. The appartment was well furnished and clean.
A disappointing experience: 1. We were advised to go to the office on arrival in NY and then we would be taken to the apartment. We arrived at the office only to find it closed even though we arrived as advised and were within the stated business hours. After calling NYCSTC we were told that an email had been sent three hours before to advise us to go straight to the apartment. We were in transit so unable to check emails. So we had to get a taxi at our expense and time to get to the apartment. 2. We got locked on the rooftop as neither of our keys worked, then realised that we should have taken a single untagged key which was left on the floor of the apt with no notification 3. No instructions or password for the WiFi were left and it took three days to get it working. 4. The bedroom windows only had sheer curtains making it difficult to sleep with the light and noise 5. The apt was stuffy as only the bedrooms had air con. 6. The information on Roomerama said the apt was a block away from Times Sq - not true 7. The map location for the apt on Roomerama was incorrect 8. No tea towels and no sink plug and little cutlery
