A beautiful, romantic apartment with lots of light, centrally located in a neighbourhood that's both quiet and lively. The apartment has a lovely view of the rooftops of Paris. It was renovated in 2008 with a comfortable, light décor. The light entering the large window from the kitchen changes hues and colours constantly.
The famous Canal Saint Martin is just at the end of the street. It has a long walkway along its banks that passes in front of the Hotel du Nord (atmosphere, atmosphere...). You'll find restaurants, cafés, art galeries, fashion and furnishing boutiques and markets within minutes of the apartment. It's a romantic area where you'll find the bohemians, couples, families and artists all mixing in simple harmony.
Not far away is a new music hall, the Alhambra where you catch a concert. There's also a "Free Bike" or Velib stand at the end of the street in case you might want to ride around the capital.
The République metro station lets you visit the rest of the city with its 5 metro lines taking you directly to the Bastille, the Pompidou Centre, Les Halles, the Latin Quarter, the Louvre and the Champs Elysées.
