My first experience with Roomarama coincided with my first visit to Washington, D.C. for the historic 9/12 march on Washington. I needed a place to stay, and I had lost any affection that I have had with ‘traditional’ hotels…so I searched the net for an alternative, and I found Roomarama. It was a fortuitous find. Once I registered at the site, the staff at Roomarama called me personally and appeared to be genuinely interested in helping me find a suitable bed and breakfast to spend my week in D.C. They were very helpful, and the price was right…much less than a traditional hotel. My hosts, Mike and Eileen, were engaging and cordial hosts, and an EXCELLENT breakfast was on the table every morning. They went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable, and the accommodations were better than first class, they were ‘home’. I found Mike to have a keen, but subtle sense of humor, founded upon a world class education. Eileen was a powerhouse of energy, up early, wide open all day, and not slowing down till the sand man summoned. More than just hosts, I felt that they were friends. All in all, my experience in D.C. was enhanced by using Roomarama, and Mike and Eileen were an important factor in this experience. I look forward to doing business with Roomarama again.
