April 26, 2010   Gvnsydney This is a small but serviceable apartment in a great part of Manhattan suitable for a two people, but you need to be very good friends. Given its location just off E Houston with plenty of bars and restaurants, I had expected it to be rather noisy at night but was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. Fred is a most accommodating host and a pleasure to deal with. Just across the road is the Sixth Ward, a good bar with seats facing the street as well as a beer garden. Be sure to stop in for happy hour!

April 18, 2010   Bjenright My weeklong stay at Fred's place was great! Great little one-bedroom apartment with a full-sized bed, spacious bathroom, and television! Highly recommended, and very affordable for the East Village. Super close an F/V subway stop, too.

March 11, 2010   Mchannah We were very happy with this place, the house was warm and comfortable, affordable, and in an amazing area surrounded by lots of cool shops and cafe's. Loved the fact it was so close to SOHO, Chinatown and Little Italy and the train station. Host was very welcoming and gave us notes about some places to check out, very helpful! (also has great views from the top of the building) - I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to as well.
